Bayan Airag Exploration LLC, a mining company conducting exploration and project development, is inviting applications for a Water Resources Officer to work at its based in Site (Durvuljin, Zavkhan Aimag) with the roster of 20/10:

- Prepare for and execute of field work associated with monitoring, including water well levels, water sampling, dust and weather monitoring etc;

- Daily water use – Controlling and monitoring daily use water at processing, сamp and others;

- Advising internal stakeholders on appropriate environmental practices;

- Investigate ground and surface water issues and recommend appropriate interventions or actions;

- Draft annual plans, including timing of events and budgets required for approval by the Environmental Superintendent;

-Investigate water use issues and recommend appropriate interventions or actions;

- Plan and execute programs associated with hydrogeology;

- Prepare reports on results obtained from programs, and assist with their submission to relevant authorities.   Assist with submission to regulators if required;

- Assist with geochemistry program: participate in field sampling, sample preparation, laboratory analysis, compiling and reporting results;

- Bachelor degree in hydrogeology, engineering or equivalent;

- Knowledge to operate scientific equipment including those used to measure weather, well water levels, dust and noise.   Knowledge of laboratory and statistical techniques, report writing and data presentation skills;

- Advanced or intermediate level of English language;

- Must be competent to use with Microsoft Office suite programs;
