• Assist in planning and organising commissioning activities within the commissioning team.
• Deliver discipline work scope according to plan
• Ensure PLC/DCS control system including the connected I/O, functionally operates as per design, and is appropriately configured and tested as required to meet the design criteria and intent
• Ensure adherence to safety
• Work within the systems and procedures to ensure engineering project work complies with statutory and regulatory requirements and company policies and practices
• Maintain compliance with quality standards in all tasks

• Minimum Experience: must be able to demonstrate 15 years professional practice, post completion of graduate/trade training, as well as 10 years working in Industrial Automation, programming PLC’s and DCS’s, integrating industrial control applications.
• Specific industry exposure: heavy industry/process commissioning, industrial equipment integration and automation 
• Systems Exposure: Emerson DeltaV, AB RSLogix, FactoryTalk; Siemens SIMATIC TIA, STEP7/STEP5; WinCC; Prosoft Tools; ABB MNavigate
• Specific equipment exposure: AB/SIEMENS PLC’s, Emerson DCS (or equivalent), level instrumentation, pressure instrumentation, Hazardous Area Instrumentation, SIL rated safety equipment, PROFIBUS and BUS topologies, structured cabling systems, fibre optic networks, HV Transformer protection and control schemes and HV/LV cabling systems, ABB/SIEMENS Switchgear, ABB/SIEMENS VSD Drives, ABB/SIEMENS Motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, crushing equipment, pumps, gearboxes, fluid systems and pipework, heat exchangers, valves, boilers, and Hazardous Area wiring schemes
