Financial Analyst
Job description
Under the guidance of the Finance Manager, Financial Analyst will be responsible for operational accounting and analysis to ensure effective implementation of company policies
Key responsibilities:
- Creation of monthly destination country budgets
- Responsible for operational salary, actual cost and monthly variance reports
- Active support to preparation of annual budgets and monthly re-forecasting of financial performance
- Communication with operation accountants, country directors, operation managers and operation directors on budget, cost and other areas of business
- Generating excel models to help to understand the destination country, its projects profitability and making operational forecasts
- Customised reports for internal management: Operations, Finance and Senior Management
- Creating insightful and visually appealing data visualizations and reports
- Active role in the completion of management accounts and bringing together commentary for the group pack, supporting forecasting and budgeting activities
- Ensuring all finance month end tasks are implemented and carried out in a timely manner
- Reconciliation of monthly accruals and prepayments
- Continuous focus on process improvement
Job requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a finance or accounting department, 2 years of financial analyst experience
- Advanced skill on Excel
- Excellent communication skills in English & Mongolian languages (oral & written)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Working experience with SAP is advantage
