• Oversee the delivery of SMP works to support the construction activities so as to meet the required standards and specifications, and to support the underground scope on site
• To meet construction schedules and minimise Non conformance
• Check and approve work permits and JHAs
• Supervise and oversee Contractor to meet the construction schedules and minimize non-conformances
• Maintain good communication with HSE, Engineering, QA/QC and other relevant departments in order to resolve roadblocks and maintain scheduled progress
• Foresee technical and organizational issues in advance and work to resolve them in a timely manner in order to maintain scheduled progress
• Compulsory attendance of Contractor Lean and Contractor Pre-Start meetings. In addition, attend other relevant meetings as prescribed by senior management
• Conducting research on site for self-development
• Making sure that everything works smoothly, and engineering designs are being followed

• Engineering degree; 
• Multiple years’ experience in a similar role in a Construction environment
• Directing the site team with the leadership and assistance of the greater Construction team
• Field engineering and supervisory experience is required. Design engineering an compulsory advantage;
• Good English both written and spoken.
• Ensuring sub-contractors are running to the schedule, within budget and on time
• Ensuring sub-contractors quality compliance
