Position summary:

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting strategic business decisions through comprehensive market research and detailed business analysis. Your primary responsibility will be to gather, analyze, and interpret market data and business metrics to provide actionable insights that drive business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis:

• Gather and analyze business data from internal and external sources to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and other business metrics.

• Conduct ad hoc analysis to address specific business questions and support decision-making processes.

Data Interpretation and Reporting:

• Translate complex data sets and research findings into clear and concise reports, presentations, and visualizations.

• Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization, ensuring they are actionable and aligned with business objectives.

Market Research:

• Conduct thorough market research to gather information on industry trends, customer preferences, competitive landscape, and market conditions.

• Utilize both qualitative and quantitative research methods to collect data from various sources, including surveys, focus groups, and market reports.

• Analyze market data to identify opportunities and threats, providing actionable recommendations to senior management.

Strategic Planning:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic planning and business development initiatives.

• Provide insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform product development, marketing strategies, and business expansion efforts.

• Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and new research methodologies.

• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance research and analysis processes, improving the overall quality and impact of insights.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

• Proven experience in market research, business analysis, or a related field.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and market research findings in business and economic context

• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools like Power BI.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

• Familiarity with market research methodologies and tools, including surveys, focus groups, and competitive analysis.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in English and Mongolian
