SALES & MARKETING MANAGER

PURPOSE:
This position will be responsible for generating new business, maximizing
and ensuring delivery of budgeted revenue across all departments for the Ramada
Ulaanbaatar Hotel. You will actively manage the hotel’s Sales and Marketing
department and sell the product and the services of the Hotel focusing on
maintaining and developing new corporate negotiated and transient business, new
conference business, new wedding business, and increasing leisure business for
the property. 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
 

Devise and implement the Hotel’s Sales and
Marketing Plan against annual budget revenue targets including the hotel’s ADR
and occupancy targets, focusing on wedding, corporate, conference and leisure
business.
Manage online presence of the Hotel across all channels (hotel website liaising with Wyndham
Hotel group, social media, third party affiliate marketing sites etc.) to maximise conversion rates and revenue.
Regularly analyse close competitors and develop/monitor prices and packages in line with strategic marketing objectives.
Produce a monthly report to key stakeholders of marketing performance to ensure positive activities are repeated and unsuccessful activities are effectively evaluated and changed as appropriate.
Contribute to the business decisions made to maximise the overall yield of the Hotel, ensuring a thorough knowledge of the 3 month rolling forecast and a thorough understanding of the business.
Work closely with all departments to successfully deliver sales and marketing activities and provide relevant marketing support for a range of initiatives.
Manage /mentor the in house F&B Manager and Front Office team to deliver budgeted revenue for the property for trading year 2023.
Manage
and maintain Hotel’s marketing database ensuring accurate input of guest
history to provide for effective reporting and decision making.
Craft and implement imaginative marketing
strategies relating to the sourcing, identifying and development of new
business.
When available, familiarisation trips to nurture
new business and highlight the unique features of the Hotel.
Hold responsibility for the Hotel’s photography
portfolio.
Hold responsibility for the development of
marketing collateral (brochures, flyers etc.)
Manage relationship with design and print
agencies.
Hold responsibility of copywriting (on and
offline).
Create and maintain excellent communication with
all hotel departments to develop motivation and encourage marketing awareness,
developing a positive ethos throughout the Hotel involving all departments,

FRONT OFFICE SUPERVISOR

• Obtain all necessary information when taking room reservations and follow.
• Monitor all VIP and special guest requests.
• Review Front Office log and Key log daily.
• Ensure logging and delivery of all messages, packages, and mail in a timely and professional manner.
• Oversee and ensure that all guests are checked in/out in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner.
• Be able to perform, complete and ensure that all tasks and duties on the shift checklist are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Answer all guest inquiries in a timely and professional nature.
• Familiar with hotel outlets information and able to explain all items competently
• Is knowledgeable on all hotel information, city information and event activities
• Maintain updated and accurate guest profiles
• Take ownership of complaints ensuring final resolution and guest satisfaction
• Responsible for taking and executing wake up calls in a timely and courteous manner
• Controlling PM & AR accounts
