Prepare the short-term & long-term plan by consulting with Planning, Workshop superintendent and organize weekly planning meeting for accurate planning Assist in management & WIP clerk of backlog and work in progress (WIP) Work with site planners to plan routable components rebuild (in and out) Track all components and maintenance through the system Make sure the planned jobs have the required parts, materials and manpower and is executed with timeframe including major rebuilds and component rebuilds Develop mechanical maintenance plans for all site equipment in accordance with contract requirements. Customize and develop Preventative Maintenance to suit site weekly and quarterly planning needs for national customers. Make the plan the annual leave of workshop, labor hire on sites and annual medical checks and trainings when needed Make the plan the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual inspection of the workshop equipment such as forklift, overhead crane, air compressor etc., Direct escalation of issues to the relevant IT specialist Reporting, document preparation and presentation Assist in the preparation of quotes for major works. Assist Management in developing rebuild budgets. Provide Management with monthly reporting and information analysis. Review the rebuild costs regularly in close liaison with the Parts and Service Manager & Workshop superintendent with a view to continually improve cost efficiencies for the contract.

Responsibility for designated projects’ logistic requirements such as project-site stock levels, in-country stock levels for project-related consumables, forecasting, reconciliation and stock returns Supervision of direct reports to ensure on-time completion of daily tasks and outstanding work. Stays current with industry, customer, product developments and technical best practices. Identifies and develops training requirements for direct reports including product related training to improve overall competence and service delivery capabilities while strengthening understanding of Sandvik Rock Tools resulting in increased value for our customers. Create periodic Rock Tools Performance Reports (CPM & TDC monitoring, presentations, data sheets, failure analysis report cards & other) and regularly conduct customer meetings to highlight product & service performance with a strong focus on continuous improvement. Directly manages Rock Tools Technician(s) (RTT) and Product Sales & Support Coordinator(s) (PSSC) that are assigned to the specific project. Performs other relevant duties as assigned by Manager.  Secondary Function: Sales Management as per assigned Project(s)  Contributes with identifying sales opportunities for Sandvik Rock Tools product line through conducting customer visits, product trails and application studies. Oversees that direct reports assess customers’ potential with Sandvik Rock Tools products and performs opportunity analysis by customer and site. Acts as a supervisory contact for responsible project-site(s) and liaises with appropriate ground personnel to communicate effectively. Provides input to Manager to address Sandvik product offering. Contributes by identifying and developing sales-plans for assigned project- site(s). Ensures that director reports keep track of accurate customer records and accessibility when needed. Responsible for achievement of budgeted revenue at designated project(s). Performs other relevant duties as assigned by Manager.  Your profile  Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, International Trade, Mechanical/ Technical Engineering or relevant discipline is preferred. Minimum of 6 years of technical experience in the mining industry. Previous experience in surface mining, underground mining, drilling applications, supply chain management and customer relationship management are also highly regarded. Previous experience in supervisory role managing technical teams will be regarded as a plus. Comply with Safe Work standards, procedures and instructions and monitor fellow personnel on their follow up and implementations. Perform electrical maintenance as per maintenance plans to a standard that maintains the integrity of the equipment and does not compromise safe operation. Perform planned and breakdown repairs to ensure that heavy mobile equipment availability supports production requirements. Perform repair and fault finding using hydraulic and electronic schematics. Provide relevant feedback to enable maintenance planning improvements in terms of efficiency and equipment integrity. Keep technical personnel advised of any relevant information. Follows scopes of work within time constraints to meet equipment costs, utilization, and availability targets. Inspects equipment for proper performance and determines faults and malfunctions. Adjust equipment & repair/replace defective parts components or systems according to scopes of work. Tests repaired equipment to ensure proper operational performance. Completes accurate time records, technical reports, failure reports, and parts lists. Stays current with industry, customer, product developments and technical best practices. Responsibility to identify and report any unsafe work habits, workplace incidents and / or near misses. Maintains hand tools and equipment to ensure safe operation. Maintains orderly workshop and ensures housekeeping requirements are met. Ensures that all activities are carried out in accordance with Company Values and current Company Policies and Procedures. Provide on-site technical assistance to resolve issues. Develop customer relationships to ensure customers have a positive experience and remain loyal to the Sandvik Brand. Provide technical training to the service network on proper operation, maintenance and troubleshooting practices. Provide technical end users, operators, and service personnel in cases of complex technical issues. Provide relevant feedback to Product Support Managers and relevant Factory Product Engineering to enable improvements to the equipment or its operation. Provide assistance in compiling accurate data to process warranty claims and engineering machine improvements. Review spare parts recommendations with Business Line Manager organization. Provide information on accuracy of Machine Life Operating Costs 9MLOC) to PSM. Investigate warranty claims proactively and reactively to enhance customer satisfaction and provide feedback to Warranty Analyst.

Ensures the smooth operation of the organization's warehouse, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment functions satisfactory. Ensures warehouse processes are maintained and managed to limit financial risks, including goods returns, credit, receiving & dispatch processes. Leads day to day warehouse facility operations and take full ownership of team leads and associates. Accounts for all materials and supplies in the store facilities; audits goods received into the warehouse. Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials and related reporting in accordance with established procedures. Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space. Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment. Other duties as assigned.
